Happy 3rd Bookaversary, Molly!!
Back in 2020, after writing and attempting to release my first every books, my baby sister, who was only about 13 at the time, asked me to write her a book. She wanted to support me, read my writing, but my first books were steamy, not really suitable for someone so young, so I told her the main plot, leaving the other stuff out, and she loved it but wanted to read something.
I asked her for an idea, what she wanted to read about. She gave me the idea for Charlie, a boy about our brother’s age, little older than her, who struggles with a broken family, maybe adoption, something along the lines of how she felt dealing with divorced parents, two families, living between them. I asked if I could make it a scifi, she said whatever, and I ended up with a series.
Originally, Molly was to be the end of it, just 3 books, but in writing Ethan’s book, a fourth came to mind, and when writing Molly’s, I realized how I needed to end the series properly, with a 5th book.
But Molly, she was special for me. She was a bit of me and a bit of my sister rolled into one character. She had my passion for helping others but my sister’s attitude and free spirit.
And now, she’s all grown up and out in the world, bringing inspiration to others. If you haven’t read the series, I think you’ll like it if you like stories of people who overcome traumas and hardships, people with heart and fire, and inspiring quotes and life lessons to help you through. These kids, they all struggle with different issues, but they don’t let them get them down.
