Paperbacks are LIVE!!
Full release is just one week away!
Can you believe that we’re already at this milestone? Just one more week and When You Prevail is released, and I have officially completed 3 different book series! It feels crazy, but I’m thrilled. I have so many ideas for more series, more books, and I am eagerly looking forward to getting them fully written and shared with you guys. Cheers to the future, eh? :)
In other news, life is about to get very crazy for us. Not only are both of my girls’ birthdays coming up, (sniffle, sniffle) but 3 of my 4 nephews have birthdays next month, Kairi has a field trip coming, summer is fast approaching, and so much more. It’s busy season for life, so I hope to accomplish more writing moving forward, especially once I get past the pumping stage in a couple months, but we’ll see how things go. I have started on Cruzig’s story, but I’m not quite halfway yet. After his is Garvon’s and the novellas will be written and head into editing stage. Which is so thrilling!! I can’t wait to get them out and see what everyone thinks of our beloved hunters. <3
I’m thinking that I’ll work on writing Dive to Bahari next, but it’s likely going to be a second reader magnet freebie for subs. It’s a shorter, simpler story, but I think it’ll make a great magnet for those here for the SFR stories I share. :) If you’re a fan of the Among the Cosmos series, you’ll likely recognize the planet, but maybe not, either way, it’s the planet orbiting Tumbilion Sayaris. ;)
Next month, I’ll have to share the photos of my new computer and desk setup with you all! My husband is building an entirely new PC for us, one that he can game on and I can work on without issue. Our current PC is great, but it’s over 6 years out of date, it’s beginning to slow down when it comes to certain areas, and it can’t play ARK Survival, which is what he’s eager for. We’ve finally ordered the last of the parts, so when it gets set up, I’ll have to take some pictures to share. I shared on my socials the change from our old tiny desk to the new standing desk, which I adore, but I’m ready to have some better monitors for my graphics. Especially since I intend to continue making my own covers moving forward! :)
Our cherry blossom trees have finally let go of all their blooms and are changing over to leaves, and the pollen is absolutely insane right now. Thank the stars for essential oils because allergies are nuts, and they’re keeping me from drowning in my own mucus. I spend as much time as I can handle outside with Amira, whether that’s walking to and from school with Kairi or sitting out on the screened back porch with Amira while we play and work out, but even so, my body has trouble adjusting some days.
But that gets me wondering, what sorts of things do you guys do to cope with allergies and changing seasons? Do you have oils, a self-care ritual to cope with the change, or maybe you’re someone who just rolls with it all? Ashton is prepping Ali for trial, and things are extremely hard for our FMC at this point. To make it clearer, before this tidbit, she literally yelled at him and blamed him for her entire situation, hence why she says she called him enemy. She’s broken, at her absolute lowest, which would make you think things can only go up from here, right?
Guess we’ll see.
“I called you my enemy, and you call me friend.” She shakes her head, her eyes dropping.
“Yeah, well, your perspective is a bit shaded in red right now, Ali. You’ve been hurt, a lot, and everyone around you seems to be hurting you or leaving you. I’m not going to do that; it seems to me like you’ve had enough of that in your life. Let me be the one constant you can rely on, at least for now, okay?”
She looks up, her lips pinched between her teeth, as she studies me for a long moment. She finally nods, releasing her lips, and my cock twitches with an urge to devour them. All plump and pink. Fuck. Focus.
“Okay, then. Let’s get you prepped for trial, shall we? One step at a time.” I smile, and she returns it, just barely. It’s a start, though, so I’ll take it. I don’t know what the hell this girl has been through in her life, it seems like it’s been a nightmare, but I can see a broken heart in need of some support when it’s in front of me. I’m not going to let her walk away without knowing that she isn’t alone in the world. If I can help heal some of her wounds, I will.
